We are Lene, Steven, Thomas, our biological son; Yanmei, our adopted daughter;
Daji, our adopted son, and Peanut our cat.
We all live just outside Copenhagen, Denmark.
This site
tells the adoption stories of Yanmei from Jinchang in Gansu Province and Daji
from Yiwu in Zhejiang Province, both in China.
It tells
the complete story of the whole adoption process: sending the paperwork, the
wait, the trips to China to collect Yanmei and Daji and our return in
2006 to visit Yanmei's first home in Jinchang and in 2007 to visit
Daji's first home in Yiwu. It also contains pictures
of Yanmei and Daji's first years in Denmark.
We have developed the
site to journal four wonderful trips to China and to recall the ups
(and some downs) of adopting two
VERY different children. We have made the site
available for anybody who is interested in sharing our
experiences.
